On or about Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021, around 7:40 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tanker truck claimed the life of a 63-year-old Unionville man. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 24 and Highway 46 in Tuscola County, Michigan.
Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified 63-year-old man was killed when a tanker truck allegedly ran a red a red light and struck a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 24 and Highway 46. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of the injuries he sustained when he was ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
According to Google Maps, Tuscola County is situated about 99 miles north of downtown Detroit.
