Details:
On or about Friday, December 24th, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, an accident between a transport van, a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of one woman. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 15 just outside Littlefield in Mohave County, Arizona.
Troopers from the Arizona State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and partially rolled, causing the trailer to disconnect from the cab. After the trailer disconnected it rolled or was pushed into the path of a nearby car and a transport van. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the transport van was uninjured in the incident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 winds north and south through Littlefield, which is about 390 miles northwest of Phoenix.
Officials are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
