On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 12:29 in the afternoon, a serious tractor-trailer accident with a motorcycle left one individual dead. Authorities from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 485 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
Spokespeople from the North Carolina Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Interstate 485. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated between Mint Hill and Harrisburg.
