On or about Monday, April 4th, 2022, around 6:00 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead and sent two children to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 6700 block of Interstate 35 in Austin, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed while two children were injured when the vehicle they were in crashed under unspecified circumstances along I-35. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead, while two children were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
