On or about Monday, March 7th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious tractor-trailer accident left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 40 just outside Ozark in Franklin County, Arkansas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two other people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly drove off the side of Interstate 40 and crashed into a creek. The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead. Two people in other vehicles that were struck by debris were treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Ozark.
Police are still working to determine exactly what happened in the accident.
