One person was killed after a 2020 Chevrolet Pickup and a tractor-trailer collided head-on while driving on Gateway Drive in Greer, SC. South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, near the intersection of Gateway and Brockman McClimon. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to nearby Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, but was later pronounced dead. The name of neither drivers has been released, and authorities are continuing their investigation.
