Details

One person was killed on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 after a collision with another vehicle sent them into the path of a dump truck travelling in the opposite direction. Longview Fire and Emergency Medical personnel report that the driver of the silver SUV did not yield to another vehicle entering traffic, struck the vehicle, and was sent into the path of the dump truck.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead by first responders, and another driver was treated for minor injuries. Authorities have yet to release the names of the drivers.
