One person was killed and three others injured in a series of collisions on 59 Freeway in Houston, TX, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Authorities report the driver of the first vehicle showed signs of impairment after striking a barricade, and then jumped off the Freeway onto Shepard Drive below. The second vehicle crashed into the first vehicle, followed by a third vehicle colliding with the others, injuring two of the people and killing another. The accident is currently under investigation.
