Details

Patricia Torres-Jimenez and her Two-Year-Old Daughter were killed after being struck from behind by a Dodge Challenger, and into the path of an oncoming semi-truck, resulting in a head-on collision. The Bertram Police Department stated Torres-Jimenez was waiting to turn left into a business on SH 29 when her Toyota was hit, and that the area of the highway has no turn lanes. The Texas Department of Transportation has since announced plans for improvements to the highway.
