Details:

A pedestrian was killed after he was struck by a semi-truck and then an SUV on US Highway 301 in Citra, FL. According to Florida Highway Patrol the accident happened around 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The pedestrian was walking on the southbound side of the highway when he was hit by the semi-truck. After the initial impact he was thrown into the path of an oncoming SUV, which also struck the pedestrian. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities report the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
