On or about Tuesday, March 5th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 63-year-old man dead. Troopers from the TSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Hamilton County, Tennessee.
Officials from the area said 63-year-old Ricky Forshee was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the vehicle he was driving along I-75. Emergency responders pronounced Forshee dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Authorities did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Ooltewah.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
