Details:
On or about Friday, February 25th, 2022, around 11:45 at night, an accident between a flatbed tow truck and two passenger vehicles left two individuals dead and sent two others to the hospital. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported along the Cross Bronx Expressway in the Bronx, New York.
Law enforcement spokespeople said Stephen Williams and one other person were killed, while two others were injured when the SUV they were in allegedly swerved to avoid a collision with a flatbed tow truck and hit another vehicle, pushing the SUV into the flatbed tow truck on the shoulder of the Cross Bronx Expressway. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, while a driver and two passengers were rushed to the hospital where the driver succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Rosedale Avenue.
