Details:
On or about Thursday, February 24th, 2022, a multi-vehicle accident between a box truck, two tractor-trailers, and six other vehicles sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the KSP said the accident was reported along the Western Kentucky Parkway in Central City, Kentucky.
Law enforcement officials from the Kentucky State Police said Steven Beck and Arvin Jenkins were injured when the vehicles they were in were ensnared in a multi-vehicle accident along the Western Kentucky Parkway. Authorities said the accident may have started when a box truck allegedly struck a UPS tractor-trailer and fled the scene of the accident as seven other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in Muhlenberg County.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
