Details:
On or about Saturday, October 17th, 2020, around 1:00 in the afternoon, a collision between a car and a tractor-trailer left a 36-year-old Elsberry woman dead. The accident happened along Highway B near the exchange with Lilley Lane in Lincoln County, just outside Auburn, Missouri.
Missouri State Highway Patrol said that Takesha N. Johnson was killed when the Dodge Durango she was driving was hit by an 18-wheeler that allegedly made a turn while Johnson was attempting to pass. Johnson was ejected from the SUV in the crash and died of her injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Examining State Hwy B on Google Maps shows a 2 lane highway running northeast and southwest, with the intersection of Lilley Lane just outside Auburn. The area is located about 65 miles northwest of St. Louis.
