Details:
On or about Monday, December 27th, 2021, around 11:48 at night, a major single-vehicle Greyhound bus accident left thirty-two people injured. Troopers from the UHP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 70 in Emery County, Utah.
Spokespeople from the Utah Highway Patrol said 32 as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when the Greyhound bus they were on allegedly drove off the side of I-70 and tipped on its side just off the pavement. Paramedics treated and transported 32 people from the bus to area hospitals with various injuries stemming from the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 70 cuts east and west through the center of Emery County, which is about 164 miles south of Salt Lake City.
