Details:
On or about Tuesday, December 8th, 2020, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a car, a pickup, and an 18-wheeler sent three people to the hospital. Deputies from Tom Green County said the accident happened on Houston Harte near North Howard Street in San Angelo, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said two women and a child were injured when a tractor-trailer, a Honda Accord, and a GMC pickup truck collided in a chain-reaction accident that began under unspecified circumstances. The Honda Accord became pinned and crushed between the tractor-trailer and a concrete barrier on the side of the road. A woman and child in the GMC pickup were taken to a nearby hospital where they were last reported in stable condition.
An as-of-yet unidentified 64-year-old woman in the Honda Accord was taken to the hospital by EMS to be treated for unspecified injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer allegedly stated something about one of the drivers slamming on their brakes.
Texas DPS assisted local law enforcement at the scene of the accident.
