On or about Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, a major accident with two tractor-trailers, a passenger vehicle, and a police patrol car sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the UHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 just outside Grantsville, Utah.
Law enforcement spokespeople said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when two tractor-trailers, a police vehicle, and a passenger vehicle collided in a chain-reaction accident. Officials did not specify what may have started the chain-reaction accident. Emergency responders transported three people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the collision. Police did not specify which vehicle or vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.
