Details:
On or about Sunday, February 28th, 2021, around 11:55 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer sent three people to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident happened on the southbound side of Dallas North Tollway near Interstate 635 in Dallas, Texas.
Authorities said a tractor-trailer hauling tile allegedly veered off the side of the road and collided with a crash attenuator before the truck burst into flames. Paramedics transported three individuals to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
Officials closed all the southbound lanes of the roadway in order to clean up the diesel spilled in the crash.
Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
