Details:
On or about Friday, November 12th, 2021, a chain-reaction accident between a car, a pickup truck, and a tractor-trailer sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the UHP said the accident was reported along State Route 39 just outside Ogden in Weber County, Utah.
Law enforcement representatives said two 16-year-old twins and another individual were injured when a car and a pickup truck allegedly collided, spinning the pickup truck into the path of a nearby tractor-trailer. Paramedics transported the 16-year-old twins and the driver of the pickup truck to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is a short distance from Ogden, which is about 38 miles north of downtown Salt Lake City.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
