Details:
On or about Saturday, March 6th, 2021, around 2:42 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 36-year-old Moreno Valley man dead. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of the 60 Freeway in Riverside County, California.
California Highway Patrol officials said 36-year-old Timothy Carr was killed when his Maserati allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer and flipped off the eastbound side of the road where it rolled down a steep embankment. Paramedics rushed Carr to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the 60 Freeway runs east and west along the northern edge of Moreno Valley, which is about 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
Officials from state and local law enforcement agencies are investigating the accident.
