On or about Friday, October 9th, 2020, a multi-vehicle accident with a box truck sent two people to the hospital. The accident took place on FM 1223 at or near the intersection with Janie Lane just outside San Angelo, Texas.
Officers have said that the driver and the passenger of a box truck were hurt when it allegedly struck a pickup truck from behind before it skidded off the road and struck a tree and a fire hydrant. The passenger in the box truck was pinned for a length of time before being taken to the hospital along with the driver.
Authorities expect to cite the box truck driver with failure to control speed in connection with the crash.
