On or about Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, a multi-vehicle accident between a car, a box truck, and a Department of Transportation truck sent two people to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened along the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Westport, Connecticut.
Law enforcement officials said the driver of a car and the driver of a box truck were injured when their vehicles collided with a Department of Transportation truck in a chain-reaction accident. Police did not elaborate as to what may have started the accident. Paramedics transported the two victims to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the incident.
