On or about Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, an accident between a Jeep and a tractor towing construction equipment sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along the Brownfield Highway (Highway 62/82) just outside Brownfield in Terry County, Texas.
Department of Public Safety officials said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a Jeep and a tractor towing construction equipment – described as module builder – collided under unspecified circumstances along the Brownfield Highway. Emergency responders transported the driver of the Jeep and the driver of the tractor to University Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance east of Brownfield, which is about 39 miles southwest of downtown Lubbock.
Police are still working to pin down the factors behind the accident.
