On or about Thursday, May 5th, 2022, around 11:58 in the morning, an accident between a van, a pickup truck, and a tractor-trailer left two people injured. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported along Charlestown Road in New Albany, Indiana.
Deputies from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly swerved into a pickup truck, causing the pickup truck to roll into a nearby van along Charlestown Rd. Paramedics transported the driver and a juvenile passenger in the pickup truck to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Cobbler’s Crossing Road.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
