Details:
On or about Sunday, December 19th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a U-Haul box truck and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported in the 16000 block of South Crater Road in Prince George’s County, Virginia.
Virginia State Police spokespeople said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and a U-Haul box truck collided head-on while driving on South Crater Road. Authorities did not indicate which vehicle may have crossed over the center line in the moments before the collision. Paramedics transported the driver of the box truck and the driver of the tractor-trailer to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, South Crater Road runs north and south into Prince George’s County.
Officials are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
