Details:
On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 3:10 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left two people dead. Authorities from the HCSO said the accident was reported in the 1000 block of the West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the West Sam Houston Parkway and slammed into a pillar. Paramedics pronounced two people in the vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of Houston.
Police are still investigating the crash.
