Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, around 9:45 at night, an accident between a Ford Mustang and a tractor-trailer left a father and son dead, while a young girl was rushed to the hospital. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 15 near the Utah state line in Mohave County, Arizona.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified 55-year-old man and an as-of-yet unidentified 12-year-old boy were killed, while an 11-year-old girl was injured when the Ford Mustang they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that had just pulled onto southbound I-15 from a dirt parking area with no lights on. Paramedics pronounced the 55-year-old man and the 12-year-old boy dead after the accident, while the young girl was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of the Utah state line and St. George.
