On or about Sunday, June 27th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a train claimed the lives of two people. Officials said the accident was reported at a crossing on an unspecified roadway just outside Livingston in Park County, Montana.
Troopers from the Montana State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a tractor-trailer was allegedly struck by a passing train at an unspecified crossing. Emergency responders pronounced two people dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance east of Livingston, which is about 117 miles east of Billings.
