Details:
On or about Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, around 2:15 in the morning, a head-on collision between two vehicles claimed the lives of both drivers. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway in Fort Worth, Texas.
Authorities said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a vehicle allegedly slammed into another car head-on while driving against traffic on the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced the drivers of both vehicles dead of their injuries at the scene of the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of downtown Fort Worth, near the exchange with Loop 820.
Police are still investigating the accident.
