Two people were injured when the dump bed of a Freightliner commercial vehicle collided with an overpass on I-55 near Matthews, MO. Authorities report the accident occurred around 6:35 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025. The 20-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured, as well as the 65-year-old Doniphan man, who reports say was more severely injured. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
