Details:
On or about Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, around 8:45 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a father and son dead, and left three others injured. Officials from the MSP said the accident happened along Highway 89 between Great Falls and Belt in Cascade County, Montana.
Authorities said 35-year-old Tyler Weir and 10-year-old Wyatt Weir were killed when the SUV they were in was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer while attempting a U-turn. Three other people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 110 miles north of Helena.
Montana State Police and local officials are investigating the accident.
