On or about Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, around 2:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 36-year-old local man. Officers from the APD said the accident was reported in the 2100 block of North 6th Street in Abilene, Texas.
Authorities said 36-year-old Walter Marion Price III was killed when the motorcycle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of North 6th Street and struck a median in the 2100 block. Emergency responders pronounced Price dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the incident.
According to Google Maps, Abilene is about 180 miles west of downtown Dallas.
Local law enforcement is investigating the accident.
