Details:
On or about Monday, February 22nd, 2021, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a tractor-trailer left a 58-year-old truck driver dead. Officials from the State Police said the accident happened along Highway 42 just outside Ghent in Carroll County, Kentucky.
Law enforcement representatives said 58-year-old William Gail Warner II was killed when his 18-wheeler was allegedly clipped by another tractor-trailer’s mirror. Warner’s truck drove off the pavement and crashed off the roadway after the initial collision. Warner died of his injuries following the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 42 runs along the southern bank of the Ohio River in the area.
