Details:

A 21-Year-Old DeLand man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a tow truck on I-4 near Lake Helen in Volusia County, FL. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol say the accident took place around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025.

The motorcyclist collided with the tow truck after an attempted lane change. He was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center, but would later die from his injuries. The tow truck driver remained at the scene, and is reportedly cooperating with authorities. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
