Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies Orrson and Soliz were injured after their vehicle was struck by a suspected drunk driver on southbound North Freeway in Houston, TX. Authorities report the accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025.

The Deputies were blocking the southbound onramp due to an early fatality accident when their vehicle was struck by another vehicle driven by Leslie King. Officials have confirmed King will be charged with DWI for his involvement in the accident.
