Details:
On or about Friday, December 17th, 2021, around 12:00 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle school bus accident left one woman dead and sent four other individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 1887 just outside Hempstead in Waller County, Texas.
Investigators said 59-year-old Abigail Ragston was killed, while four other people were injured when the school bus they were on allegedly lost control and rolled while driving down Farm-to-Market 1887 near the exchange with Holik Road. Ragston died of her injuries a short time after the accident, while the driver and three students were taken to area hospitals with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 57 miles northwest of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
