Details:
On or about Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 40-year-old man from Huntsville, Texas. Troopers from the OHP said the accident happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Investigators said 40-year-old Adam Cripe was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer while he was walking along or near the interstate. Paramedics pronounced Cripe dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the incident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report.
Officials closed several lanes of Interstate 40 in order to tend to the scene of the accident.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the accident investigation.
