On or about Thursday, November 12th, 2020, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a delivery truck and a scooter left a 35-year-old man dead. Investigators said the accident happened on Crescent Street near the intersection with Astoria Boulevard in Queens, New York.
Officers from the NYPD said 35-year-old Alfredo Cabrera Liconia was killed when he was allegedly struck by a Bud Lite delivery truck while turning. Emergency responders pronounced Liconia dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
Google Streetview shows Crescent Street as a one-way southbound street, with a stoplight at the intersection with Astoria Boulevard. The area is situated in the far northwest part of Queens.
