On or about Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent a 62-year-old woman to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Highway 75 just outside Sabetha in Brown County, Kansas.
Investigators said 62-year-old Alison Mueting was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck her pickup truck as she was attempting a turn off Highway 75. Emergency responders transported Mueting to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 5 miles north of Sabetha, which is about 109 miles northwest of downtown Kansas City.
