Details:

Andriana Garza and Daniel Araujo were killed and two others injured in a two vehicle collision on State Highway 44 at FM 2507, near Alice, TX. Officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety report the accident occurred around 3:53 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025.

The Hyundai Elantra, driven by Araujo, was travelling south when it collided with the eastbound Jeep, with the Jeep striking the passenger side of the Hyundai. After colliding, both vehicle left the road, and the Hyundai burst into flames. Garza was pronounced dead at the scene, and Araujo would later die from injuries sustained in the accident. Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
