Details:
On or about Sunday, March 14th, 2021, around 2:30 in the afternoon, a multi-vehicle chain-reaction accident with a tanker truck and a tractor-trailer left three people dead. Officials from the GPS said the accident was reported on the westbound side of Interstate 16 in Bulloch County, Georgia.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said 32-year-old Dr. Anthony Jaroy Stuckey Sr, 34-year-old Elysea Stuckey, and 3-year-old Anthony Jaroy Stuckey Jr were killed when their car was allegedly rear-ended by a tanker truck and burst into flames. After the initial collision, the car was pushed into another tractor-trailer and a fourth unidentified vehicle. All three victims died of their injuries at the scene.
Google Maps shows Interstate 16 cuts east and west along the southern edge of Bulloch County, which is about 50 miles west of Savannah.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
