Details:
On or about Saturday, January 15th, 2022, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 73-year-old Bowling Green, Kentucky woman dead. Troopers from the MSHP said the accident was reported near the exchange of Highway W and Interstate 70 not far from Foristell in St. Charles County, Missouri.
Authorities from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said 73-year-old Bonnie Stinson was killed when she was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the roadway at or near the intersection of Interstate 70 and Highway W. Officials said the tractor-trailer may have rolled off a stop when it struck and dragged Stinson for an unspecified distance. Emergency responders pronounced Stinson dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside Foristell, which is located roughly 46 miles west of downtown St. Louis.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
