On or about Friday, October 16th, 2020, around 9:30 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent a woman and a teenage boy to the hospital. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 36 and FM 2004 in Brazoria County, Texas.
Police said 35-year-old Candace Moore White and her 17-year-old passenger were injured when their Chevrolet Colorado was hit by a tractor-trailer that allegedly ran a red light at the intersection. Paramedics transported White and the teenage boy to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities cited the driver of the tractor-trailer for failure to yield to the red light.
