44-year-old Chad Ferguson was killed in an accident with a commercial truck on Route 220 in Botetourt County, VA. Virginia State Police report the accident took place around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Ferguson was travelling south on Route 220 when part of the brakes broke off from the northbound Ford F-750. The debris struck the Hyundai Kona being driven by Ferguson, who died from the impact. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstance that led to the accident.
