Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, around 2:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one child dead and sent eight other people to the hospital. Spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along Highway 27 at the Broward/Palm Beach County line in Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified 11-year-old child was killed and eight other people were injured when the vehicle they were in was allegedly rear-ended by a tractor-trailer along Highway 27. Paramedics pronounced one child in the vehicle dead, while six other juveniles and two adults in the car were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident straddles the line between Broward County and Palm Beach County.
