On or about Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, around 12:13 in the afternoon, an accident between a four cars and an 18-wheeler left a 4-year-old boy dead. Deputies from the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of 2nd Street and Gusmus Avenue in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Police said an as-of-yet unidentified 4-year-old boy was killed when four cars and a tractor-trailer towing a mobile home collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics pronounced a 4-year-old boy dead a short time after they responded to the incident. Authorities did not mention any other injuries.
According to Google Maps, Muscle Shoals is located roughly 69 miles west of Huntsville.
Police are still investigating the incident.
