Details:
On or about Tuesday, October 13th, 2020, around 8:28 in the morning, a collision between a tractor-trailer and a car left one man dead and another injured. The accident happened on Highway 425 near Montogo in Monticello, Arkansas.
Arkansas State Police said that 25-year-old Christian L. May was killed when the 1997 Lexus he was driving allegedly crossed from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes where it struck a tractor-trailer driven by 31-year-old Frederick Lloyd.
May died after the accident, while Lloyd was treated for unspecified injuries.
An inspection of Highway 425 on Google Maps shows a 2 lane road that runs north and south through the heart of Monticello, which is located about 90 miles south of Little Rock.
State Police are assisting deputies from the Drew County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
