Christopher Calvert was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on State Highway 20 in Lauderdale County, AL. Deputies from the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office say the accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Calvert was pronounced dead at the scene, and the tractor-trailer driver was taken to Alabama Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Officials from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are investigating the cause of the accident.
