On or about Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, around 6:40 in the evening, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Representatives from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 10 in Logan County, Arkansas.
Authorities from the Arkansas State Police said 35-year-old Christopher Elliot was killed and 33-year-old Jimmy Lee Rhoades was injured when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a turning tractor-trailer along Highway 10. Elliot died of his injuries a short time after the collision, while Rhoades was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
