Details:

On or about Saturday, May 7th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a FedEx truck left one man dead and sent a passenger to the hospital. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 81 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.

Officials from the Pennsylvania State Police said 50-year-old Coy Quackenbush and his as-of-yet unidentified passenger were injured when the FedEx tractor-trailer they were in allegedly collided with another 18-wheeler along I-81. Emergency responders pronounced Quackenbush dead of his injuries at the scene, while a passenger in the truck was rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 81 winds north and south into Lebanon County.

Police are still investigating.
